Hot Tub Concrete Slab Installation – Bayshore Concrete LLC

Durable & Level Concrete Pads for Your Hot Tub

Installing a hot tub is an exciting investment for your home — but it’s only as good as the foundation it sits on. Bayshore Concrete LLC specializes in custom hot tub concrete slabs that provide the perfect base for your spa. A strong, level pad ensures safety, prevents shifting, and extends the life of your hot tub.

Also called: spa, Jacuzzi®, portable spa, whirlpool tub, hydrotherapy tub, soaking tub, and swim spa (larger units with a current system). We pour pads and slabs for all of these.

Whether you call it a hot tub pad, spa slab, or Jacuzzi® base, the foundation needs to be level, reinforced, and sized to your model’s footprint. We build concrete pads for portable spas, in-ground spas, whirlpool tubs, hydrotherapy tubs, and swim spas—meeting manufacturer specs for thickness, reinforcement, and clearances.

Why Choose a Concrete Slab for Your Hot Tub?

  • Strength & Stability: Properly engineered slabs support the full weight of the tub, water, and occupants.
  • Level Surface: Prevents uneven water levels and stress on the spa shell.
  • Low Maintenance: Concrete won’t rot or shift like wood decks or loose pavers.
  • Customizable: Built to your exact dimensions with broom or smooth finish options.

Our Hot Tub Slab Installation Process

1) Site Preparation

Remove grass, topsoil, and debris to create a clean work area.

2) Excavation & Grading

Excavate to the correct depth and level the base for proper drainage.

3) Compacted Stone Base

Install and compact stone to prevent settling.

4) Form Setup

Set forms to ensure precise size, shape, and slope.

5) Concrete Placement

Pour 4,000 PSI concrete at 4″ or 6″ thickness (per customer or manufacturer recommendation), reinforced with fiber mesh (with optional wire mesh).

6) Finishing & Curing

Apply smooth or broom finish and allow proper curing for long-term performance.
